Healers of Broken Hearts (HBH) Ministries is a faith-based non-profit organization with a calling to mend afflicted hearts using the Word of Hope found in the Bible, paired with the utilization of its members' gifts, talents, and skills. The mission of HBH Ministries is to cultivate a positive influence in youth, facilitating life-changing experiences and guiding them toward a meaningful existence on both individual and global scales.
HBH Ministries draws its inspiration from the biblical scripture in Isaiah 61:1-4, which emphasizes the proclamation of the year of God's favor upon His people. The organization's primary target demographic is youth, as they are particularly vulnerable to a multitude of life challenges. If not addressed effectively, these challenges can result in emotional wounds that are difficult to heal, but if managed wisely, can have a profoundly positive impact on communities.
Headquartered in Kigali, Rwanda, HBH Ministries aims to expand its reach to other parts of the world, starting with Rwandan diasporas living across the globe. These individuals are connected through the internet, where most of their meetings are conducted virtually, and their actions and practices are carried out individually and remotely.
With a membership exceeding fifty individuals, HBH Ministries fulfills its mission by organizing its members into various groups based on their skills, talents, and gifts, referred to as departments. These departments include the Evangelism Department, Music Department, Compassion (Social Affairs) Department, Intercession Department, Schools Department, and Finance Department. Each department has a distinct focus, yet they are all interconnected. Furthermore, to ensure effective monitoring of their activities, each department has several recurring programs, each with a specific name to facilitate memorization and recognition. In essence, the organization operates through six departments and ten recurring programs.
More Details1.At the beginning of the program, HBH members will be trained on how to implement the program through individual practices. Every member willing and committed to participate in the program will choose a permanent day in a week on which s/he will be either inviting at least one person home for a meal or visit a person at home, work, hospital, homeless, delivering a meal to him/her. They could share the meal or just make a delivery. This will be done in the names of HBH Ministries. After three months of individual practice, the program coordinators will have set up means of group practice. After six months or a year, the organizers will be organizing a public means of feeding more people together on a weekly basis. - Ensure a consistent supply of public food, particularly for the homeless, through the “Yesu Aragabura” weekly program.
